Bread Bite words of encouragement

Bringing you a second dose of encouragement this week, here is your Southern Cancer Center Friday “Bread Bite”, from Pastor Richie Nobles of Crossroads Church in Bay Minette, AL.

Pastor Richie-
Each morning, I wake up wondering what crazy thing is going to happen today. Seems like the world has completely lost its mind. Well, I just want to remind you today of a few facts.

Did you realize that you are unique? Take a moment and look at your thumbprints. Those beautiful lines are special just to you. You are God’s masterpiece. You are the apple of His eye. You are NOT a mistake, rather your living right now because God ordained it. The Bible says that He knew you BEFORE you were knit together in the womb. Wow, what a thought. No, what a reality.

So stop comparing yourself to others. Stop “keeping up with the Joneses”. You be you. In all of the Godly wonder you are. Be you! Quoting that wonderful movie, “You are smart, you are precious, you are important!” And you are, period. You are exactly how God wants you to be. Yes, there are things we have to work on; we aren’t perfect for sure, but man we are unique.

So, what are you going to do with that today? Live in it. Walk in it. No matter what others might say, you know the truth. You are a “piece of work”, in a good way of course. Now start seeing other people as you want to be seen. That’s really the “Golden Rule” of life. This world’s troubles would vanish if we saw the value in us and in others. We might not can change the whole world, but you can change your world. Those in your circle of influence would benefit from someone living and acting correctly.

Here’s my new hashtag, since everyone else has one.

#neveralonealwaystogether

People left and right are fighting loneliness and depression. So, when you bump into them, bring the light of Jesus with you. He sacrificed His life just for you and that person you’ve crossed paths with. Man, we MUST be important.
